Our SECRET to NATURALLY Curing Eosinophilic Esophagitis!

If you have eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) you know how confusing and scary it can be. In the video below, I share an update on Luke’s EoE condition. It has been a long journey but we have been able to completely eliminate his symptoms and, according to even his gastroenterologist, Luke is cured and free from EoE!!! It honestly feels surreal. Here are some steps we've taken to cure Luke's EoE:

Step 1: Eat less junk

Sugary foods and refined carbohydrates all turn straight into sugar in the body. Sugar creates high insulin levels, which can lead to insulin resistance, inflammation, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, increased risk of cancer, poor sex drive, and depression.

With Luke, we have been working on reducing his inflammation by continuing to limit his intake of junk food and processed foods and increasing his consumption of fiber and veggies.

Step 2: Eat more fiber and veggies

Some ways we've been able to do this is by always having veggies with dinner, snacking on raw veggies like cucumbers, and drinking smoothies.

An easy way we do this is by making smoothies filled with spinach, high-fiber fruits like raspberries, vegegreens, and spirulina, which is also high in protein. If you want to learn more about our smoothie formulas check out this video.

We’ve also been slowly adding more inulin fiber into his diet, which is an amazing prebiotic fiber that feeds those good gut buddies.

Step 3: Supplementing wisely for Eosinophilic Esophagitis

Luke loves to practice olympic lifting and body building; therefore, proper supplementation is neccesary. He has been using Iron Vegan Athlete's Blend Protein Powder and Myprotein Creatine Monohydrate and has had great results. He is also taking Nature's Way NutraSea+D Omega 3 + Vitamin D and Inulin Fiber Powder.

Step 4: Healing his gut

I believe this condition is rooted in the gut; therefore, in order to heal EoE you need to heal your gut.

As I lay out in my book, really try to increase your probiotics, prebiotics, and postbiotics. Also, consuming natural healers, like bone broth, can be so fabulous for your health. Depending on your age and weight, it may also be helpful to practice intermittent fasting, for around 12 hours every night to give your body and digestive system some much-needed rest. This can really help your body take time to heal itself.
