I’m addicted to this sauce! Om nom nom nom! It is SO easy to make and you can use it as a salad dressing, veggie dip, or a creamy marinade. I can put this stuff on almost anything. It’s also vegan, gluten free, and super good for you.
Some facts about tahini:
It is a major ingredient in hummus or baba ganoush; adds lots of flavour and thickness
Tahini is a nut butter, or paste, that comes from ground sesame seeds
Has lots of healthy protein and fat in it with few carbohydrates
Garlic Tahini Dressing
Yields around 1 1/2 cups
Vegan, Gluten Free
Ingredients
1/2 cup tahini
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
3 cloves garlic
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp dried onions (or regular, chopped onions)
1 tbsp Braggs soy sauce (or tamari)
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/4 water (or more for desired thickness)
Directions
Put all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Blend until smooth. Add more water if the sauce is too thick.
