One of my favourite things to eat is salad. I know, sounds crazy right? However, I feel like I’ve mastered the salad making ways, which allows me to eat delicious, healthy salads every time.
I find it almost hard to believe that I used to love eating Caesar salads. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll post a recipe of a stellar Caesar salad that I would actually eat. However, most of the time people are eating chemical laden, creamy Caesar salads that leave your bodies more nutritionally depleted than stimulated.
Here are some healthier ways to get in your greens and not lose tastiness!
Feel free to mix and match however you would like! I’ll add in come of my favourite combinations at the bottom.

Options are limitless!

Nuts (pecans, almonds, walnuts, etc.)
Seeds (hemp, flax, chia, etc.)
Add Some Protein
Get In Your Carbs:
Roasted cubed squash
Pour on Delicious Dressing:

Remember everything in moderation. Mix and match as much of these ingredients as you would like but be sure to use some discretion. Try to only use one healthy fat and protein in your salads. For example, if I’m making an avocado salad I will rarely add more cheese and quinoa unless I’ve just had a big workout and am needing a hardy meal.
